I’m reading chapter 2 of Kaplan and Sadocks Synopsis of Psychiatry, and it talks about a child rearing experiment done on Rhesus monkeys. It also presents a lot of tables regarding changes in the cognitive, social, spatial and emotional developments an infant undergoes, like so:

Had fun at Sayawmanila + Shakey’s today with Aimee, Cel, Leyla and Jim today. Too bad we don’t have any pictures, so I’ll just post a photo of the event poster instead. I especially liked Indayog’s Skecher’s Streetdance battle 7’s performance. It was very fortunate of me to have them perform it again because I didn’t appreciate it the first time around (since Aimee, Gee and I were busy figuring out where Jio was during the routine). I also liked UP Diliman’s UPZ’s dance, although I think the first (skecher’s routine) was still the best. 

There were 8 villains, if I remember correctly. I liked The Stepsisters’ (Cinderella), The Witch (Snow White), Hades (Hercules), Cruella de Vil and Pocahontas. Go Jio! :)) I hope I’d find some time during the summer or every weekend to learn. (and not lose interest)

Here’s to more fun with friends! Hope I’d have enough time (and money haha) for Eyeball at CCP next week. :) 

Speaking of eyeballs =)) I think I need to get my eyes checked. I can feel the strain whenever I try to make out the blurry outlines of far things.

Today, Jereel, Celina and I participated in Tagisang Pinoy. Hosted by RSO, it pitted different colleges (most participants came from CM though) against each other in categories ranging from history, politics, current events, pinoy pop culture, and geography. 

Thank you to Jereel for answering all the questions. Lahat talaga si Jereel sumagot. Di kami quizbee material ni Cel =))) Congrats to Jim and Madi for placing 2nd! (kung mabasa mo to Jim, hahahaha iququote kita sa dulo kaya magbasa ka lang) 

Things I learned from the quizbee:

• The three stars in the Philippine flag symbolizes Luzon, Mindanao and…Panay. The rationale for this was that only Panay aided (a faction I don’t remember) during the revolt
• Edcel Lagman is the primary author of the RH Bill
• Bongao is Tawi-tawi’s Capital
• Ruy Lopez de Villalobos! 
• Sarswela
• These are all I can remember for now. I still need to finish our trans. :))

Ano ba yan Madi! Paano ka sumasali ng contests nung high school…ang pangit ng sulat mo! 

Last Thursday, Celina, Leyla and I watched this at Robinson’s. I enjoyed the movie, although my eyelids were already giving up on me halfway througout the movie. I won’t comment on the movie because I’m not in the mood and I’m not particularly experienced when giving a movie review. I’ll just share some random thoughts and things I noticed throughout the movie:

• The movie was in black and white. Taking out the colors would probably be a stimulus less for our brains to process, and we would be able to appreciate the movie’s storyboard. 
• Scenes with lots of bullets firing are deafening.
• When there are less than ten of you in a movie theatre, you’d feel so at home that you’d be able put your feet up every now and then.

• 8-9 - breakfast, bath (siguro 8:30 yan kasi mageextend pa ako)
• 9-9:30 - check-up with ellie’s mom
• 9:30 - 11:00 - read physics
• 11:00 - 12:00 -lunch
• 12:00 - 1:00 -more physics (go to school to check for exemption. or call somebody who’s already there. crossing fingers for exemption)
• 1:00 - 3:00 - nap / read a book (papick-up laundry)
• 3:00 -5:00 - watch series
• 5:00 -6:30 - fix things (kalat, clothes, school things)
• 7:00 onwards - watch some more, o study some more, kung di nasunod yang schedule.

fixing files on my desktop and download folders. sana exempted kami sa chem at physics finals. 

I’ve been telling Celina for the day to “just tell the truth” countless times today. But it’s not as easy as it sounds, depending on what and who you’re going to “not tell the truth” about. And starting tomorrow, I won’t be going to school with her anymore because she insists on walking alone. 

We went to Pisay to bring the school materials my brother needs. We weren’t allowed inside, not even past the guardhouse. Booo. Celina said she needed to use the restroom, and I used the same excuse (it wasn’t an excuse on her part though), so we were able to go to the front lobby. We waited for Gari at the front lobby, and eventually rode the bus “just in time” for the buddy block lunch. 

My buddy’s name is Aldric Cristoval Reyes. He is a math genius. Yun lang. I did pretty much a lot of talking.

Tomorrow’s the first day of classes (since I’m expecting professors are actually going to show up this time :|) I’m supposed to be at home, fixing things and not at hearts and flours blogging about my day. meh. 20 more minutes. 

hmm. celina just replied. I might still walk with her to school after all. :))

ngayon na ako magkwkwento.

walang class. walang chem 31. 7-8:30. tapos break hanggang 10. tapos wala na namang p6. tapos break. 

pinanood namin sa break nina celina at patty yung grad ball/baccmass/graduation cd. kasi wala akong series na good enough panoorin, o movie na matatapos in less than 1 hour and 20 minutes. 

ayun. hinanap namin mga sarili namin. hekhek

uh. tapos p.e. na wala naman. kasi cas orientation. kaya medyo nanood lang ako sa bahay hanggang 2:00. 

nagRaon kami ni jer at wowee. bibili ng music stuff. si mj rin sana kaya lang tulog amp.  mga 3 hours kami sa raon. ang sikip at ang daming tao at ang ingay.bumili si wowee ng guitar na may pickup, tapos bumili ako dalawang guitar string at isang maliit na pick. as in maliit. iba pa yung shape. parang shape ng pinky nail mo. HAHA.

sana matuloy ang band na plinano ng isang taon pero walang nangyari. di pa namin nabilhan si emdyey ng kahon niya kasi kapos yung dala namin para sa glossy guitar ni weewee.
