Enjoy your fish. 

Today, you and Cel went to Cartimar to buy fish for her sister. It was very exhilirating to see fish of different colors, shapes and sizes swim. There were striped fish, fish as large as your legs, fish as small as your pinky nail, fish with bubbles on their eyeballs, parrot fish, fish with bulging “brains”,  clown fish, fish fish, fish with spots and stripes and spots and stripes, 

There were also frogs. White frogs that swam. Frogs that were as still as a statue when they slept. Frogs that looked cool when they swam because you never saw them as swimmers, and you never saw them without a moss green skin. 

There were parrots too, but they were expensive, and you weren’t there for parrots. You were there for fish.

You bought a Nemo and a Dory. You tried to catch Dory with a net, but it was impossible. The mere sight of the net scared the fish away. They hid under rocks and anemones, and you couldn’t even fit the net into the spaces between.

 You bought these in order:

• Nemo
• Bowl
• Sinking pellets
• Dory

As you were about to buy Dory, you found out that maintaning a saltwater fish requires a lot of things. For one, you should take into account the salinity of the aquarium (which the storeowner explained to you interms of gallons and kilograms, to which you nodded and “aaahed” to, when in truth, you did not grasp the whole concept of salinity when applying it to fish). You should consider getting a filter, because saltwater fish will not survive a week without it (or at least that’s what he told you; Jer says you could improvise for a while and make do with changing the water everyday) Before you could put the fish in the bowl, you have to acclimatize them in a plastic bag. You have to take out 20% of your water everyday and replace it for the next day. 

You pray for the fish, hoping they make it through the day.

Ahhh, fish.

Had fun at Sayawmanila + Shakey’s today with Aimee, Cel, Leyla and Jim today. Too bad we don’t have any pictures, so I’ll just post a photo of the event poster instead. I especially liked Indayog’s Skecher’s Streetdance battle 7’s performance. It was very fortunate of me to have them perform it again because I didn’t appreciate it the first time around (since Aimee, Gee and I were busy figuring out where Jio was during the routine). I also liked UP Diliman’s UPZ’s dance, although I think the first (skecher’s routine) was still the best. 

There were 8 villains, if I remember correctly. I liked The Stepsisters’ (Cinderella), The Witch (Snow White), Hades (Hercules), Cruella de Vil and Pocahontas. Go Jio! :)) I hope I’d find some time during the summer or every weekend to learn. (and not lose interest)

Here’s to more fun with friends! Hope I’d have enough time (and money haha) for Eyeball at CCP next week. :) 

Speaking of eyeballs =)) I think I need to get my eyes checked. I can feel the strain whenever I try to make out the blurry outlines of far things.

Last Thursday, Celina, Leyla and I watched this at Robinson’s. I enjoyed the movie, although my eyelids were already giving up on me halfway througout the movie. I won’t comment on the movie because I’m not in the mood and I’m not particularly experienced when giving a movie review. I’ll just share some random thoughts and things I noticed throughout the movie:

• The movie was in black and white. Taking out the colors would probably be a stimulus less for our brains to process, and we would be able to appreciate the movie’s storyboard. 
• Scenes with lots of bullets firing are deafening.
• When there are less than ten of you in a movie theatre, you’d feel so at home that you’d be able put your feet up every now and then.

Long weekend!

Went ice skating with celina and dianne today. tapos, sabi nung taxi driver “padagdag ng 30 pesos ah”. Kasi raw wala na siyang makukuhang pasahero. pinag-usapan namin nung papunta na kami na bawal yun, etc. 

Tapos nung pababa na kami, 75 yung nasa metro. 75 binayad ko. Tapos nag-away pa sila ni dianne. Tinarayan ni Dianne. Umalis na kami. hahaha.

@misterhari kung nababasa mo to, sama ka next time. :D

Chances that you’re burning through.

Went to Diliman today with Celina. Ang saya. :)) Kahit si Jhon at Ekay lang nakausap namin. :))

Nagtechnohub ako for the second time. Nagtimezone. Tapos Razon’s. Nakita namin si Santos. :))

Will do biolab nao. o basa muna tumblr haha
